Back again for the newest addition of: Wow that woman takes lazy to a whole 'nother level.

Bless me father for I have sinned. It has been one week since my last confession. I confess that I have, on more than one occasion, forgotten an entire load of wet clothes in the washer that never made it to the dryer. LOVELY. Forcing me to wash them AGAIN! Water restrictions, what? Green, who?

This of course dominoes and delays my getting any new loads of laundry done. Which in turn starts the back up of dirty laundry in the bathroom hampers. Then before I know it the pile has grown so high my 5 year old has to reach over her head to put her dirty clothes on top and my husband starts referring to said pile as "Lumpy". Okay, so that part happened only once. Last week. But I'm sure it started with a forgotten load of clothes left in the washer too long.

Come forth children, and make your confessions. Don't worry we can't see who you are through the partition.

Haha!

There is a forgotten load of laundry in my washer RIGHT NOW!

o, that is my biggest oopsie on a weekly basis. And also? I HATE putting the laundry away, so I make my husband do it. And lo, he is as lazy as I am and thus we pull clean (wrinkled) clothes from baskets strategically located around the bedroom to wear to work.

We are awesome.

I do this ALL - THE - TIME.

Seriously, there absolutely IS a forgotten load of laundry in my washer right now. The load that is in the dryer right now (and has been since yesterday) was washed twice. I am not kidding.

I thank whoever is responsible for OxyClean for allowing our clothes to not smell like dank musty nuck.

My laundry confession: I could (and have...but not as much as I would like) leave a hamper full of clean laundry on the bedroom floor and have both my husband and I live out of it until it is empty, never folding or putting away a single piece before they are worn...but the worst part...I could do it without an ounce or cent of guilt.

I confess that my wife insists upon delicate cycles and certain treatment and sorting, and I nod and guarentee her that it will be done and then I just mix it all up anyway and wash things together randomly.
Does that make me a bad person or simply a typical guy?

No laundry confessions, but I do have a lazy confession.

It's 10:39 and I'm in bed blogging. In my defense I did take a long, hilly walk at 8:00. Then I came home, popped some popcorn, and took to my bed with my laptop and The View.

I don't feel bad about this at all!

well count me among the ranks of people who have a load in the washer from a few days ago...

but add to that, the laundry I did, is STILL on my bed, because my husband is home on the weekends I just pushed it over to one side. HIS side.

Apparently I am in good company in laundry hell. I have also, worn everything out of the clean basket and never put anything away, pushed it to his side and laid it out around the room to "get out the wrinkles" Add to that rewashing clothes because they were so wrinkled from not getting put away and I didn't want to iron them. Whew! I feel so much better.
GR typical man. But hey at least you know how to use the washer and dryer. And I don't sort anything, too much work! Dear gracious, then the laundry would NEVER get done!
Jenn your morning sounds glorious! Hope for the years of teenagedom to come.
Oh and on someone's blog (too lazy to go hunting for it) someone was asking advice for smelly laundry. I am now buying baking soda in huge boxes, best idea ever, and cheaper than fabric softener, which only masks the smell.

i can not tell you how many times I have washed the SAME load of laundry! I can stretch 1 load out the WHOLE week if I put my mind to it! I HATE laundry!

Back in the day of what I like to call "Newlywed Hell" I once HID THE LAUNDRY SOAP! How retarded was that? I kept it hidden for days (I had it hidden under the counter in the extra bathroom we didn't use), and would just keep saying we were out and couldn't buy soap until payday. Then one day, my husband went to get something from that bathroom and FOUND it. I was COLD BUSTED!
