I'm Melting...

Plans for today involve moving as little as possible this morning. Going to the pool in the dead heat of the afternoon. And grocery shopping later, possibly around closing time so we can crawl into a cooler and sleep there.
On the grocery list is popsicles, ice cream, fruit, salad and lunch meat. Pretty much anything in a cooler that does not have to be cooked.
So guess what happened last night.
And guess how long it will be before anyone can even come to look at our problem.
Go ahead guess, it will be fun.

  1. Stove explode? Grill gone kaputz? No electricity? Oh I know, AC is dead.

Bummer Karen. We had that happen a few years ago. I bet they wont be there till next week.

In this house our AC didn't come on the first time we ran it, the outside fan wasn't moving. I ended up fixing it by manually spinning it, then it just got going after that.

I hope you can get yours fixed soon and at a small cost.

  4. You fridge died and all of those groceries spoiled!

It's strange that it is so flipping hot in Florida but here it has been so very mild...

  5. Yes, the AC died. It took only 1 day to get an appt., an hour for them to fix it, a small hunk of money, and about 8 hours to get the temperature back down. But now it's icey cold inside, as it should be! LOL!

  6. You ran out of beer.

Also, it is miserable weather here. We're in the midst of June gloom--overcast and cool most of the month.
