Weekly Words Challenge

It's that time again. Are you ready for the challenge? The words are brought to you courtesy of the bride to be Tink. And lucky for me this week they were easy for a mom sitting at home with a sick kiddo*.

I present you with a little slideshow of Halloween THEN and NOW.

*My little munchkin is still coughing. But she did sleep through the night. And her fever has finally gone down. Hopefully this means the worst is over. In which case I'm hoping for one more day at home. I want to make sure she's completely rested for her class field trip and Halloween Friday.

I am so glad to hear little one is on the the mend. Yes, you can rock a costume woman! Both of you are fab. The girls have had some great costumes. Thanks for sharing and making me feel less than perfect. :)
Just kidding. I already felt that way before.
have a good day-Suz

Those costumes are amazing!!! My favorites were Curious George, the lion in the "cage", and the mole rat from Kim Possible. What a great Mom you are. My Mom's idea of a costume was a t-shirt with four cardboard circles attached for a dalmation. Lol. Btw fellow Gator, if someone were selling "Swamp Life" decals for cars would you be interested in buying one? I'm not asking you to buy one persay. I'm taking a poll. :)

I am humbled by your costuming genius!
My kids pretty much get the same stuff out of the box year after year. I'll post their picture from 2 years ago on the 31st.

Oh, those are all just so beautiful - how creative you are - that gingerbread costume - and Tinkerbell! They are all just adorable, and what a walk down memory lane - all the changes - how tall they are now! Just a wonderful WWC. Thanks! (and yes, a bun IS essential. All good ballerinas insist on one!) And "the lion sleeps tonight" may just be one of the best pictures I have seen all year!

Thanks!
Now to be fair, the costumes I sewed are almost all of the wear it once or twice variety, and NONE of them would make it through the laundry. Many of them were just a matter of finding the right pieces and putting them together. Like the gold boots for Hannah Montana. In fact you may notice many of Breanna's costumes are centered around a good pair of boots.
But very few of them are straight out of the dress up box... Tinkerbell I'm looking at you!

And Tink yes, I'd get a Swamp Life sticker.

Looks like we will be following in Brookie's footsteps this year...Syd HAS to be Tinkerbell...and of course the Tinkerbell costume wee had at home was itchy so...FUN!!!

What a great slide show! Fabulous costumes, the Lion & Tamer set was my favorite. It is so nice to see that moms still make costumes.

I love the montage - my mom either dressed me as an old lady with socks stuffed for boobs or the classic sheet with two eye holes.
I am in the midst of sewing a costume for one - was able to buy for the other two. There's a whole blog post about this waiting to come out - when I'm done sewing of course.
