This new little feature at For the Love of Pete has turned into a fun topic. Thanks to all of you who are playing along in the comments section. And double thanks to Jason who posted his own hysterical confession this week. He couldn't wait for Thursday, but I forgive him, because I'm totally his fangirl!
Now on to this week's confession. I often wait until we get our tax refund to pay our HOA dues. Then I pay for 3 quarters in one big fat check. Yes, we are supposed to pay quarterly. Yes, this means January and April's payments are late. Okay, January is way late. But hey, July is usually early, so it all evens out, right? And my account is cleared of any holds just about the time we want to start using the community pool.
So anyone feel like confessing? Leave me a comment with your confession or a link to where you've decided to come clean in your own blog.

Aaack - I'm an HOA president, and I was just cussing out people like you for making me go to the post office and wait in line to send y'all registered letters threatening to put liens on your houses if you don't pay up!
But I'll put you in the giveaway, anyway...thanks for stopping by my place!

Thanks for the reminder I need to pay them that $15 before I send them the application for the pool that I am sure will already be started in the yard! :)

Here's my confession ... we don't have a budget. We sort of fly by the seat of our pants when it comes to money. We have enough each month to cover the bills and do nice things. But we should sit down and BUDGET.
That's the ADULT thing to do ... right?

Aunt Flow this week...I've eaten 12
LARGE toll house chocolate lover's chocolate chip cookies this week. Some of them I didn't even bother to bake...why waste the electricity? They are 180 calories each but no trans fats :)

And thank YOU! Now I don't need to double dip. And I'm your fanboy. And I love that you are totally stalking my family.
