I am married with children. My husband and I are doing our best to raise open minded, caring, happy kids. But we are realistic, so we are keeping records of our shortcomings for the therapists they'll surely need in the future.
She is a beige chinchilla. And she is as soft as she looks. She's also a bit of a diva. If you want to know more email me. I love to bore people to death with info about her.
I used to have 2 chinchillas ... sisters. They traveled all over the eastern seaboard with me.
When they escaped from their cage and ate through my computer wires, they had to go. They had already escaped and eaten the TV wires. But I still have SUCH fond memories of them!
Technically it's dirt, it's called "dust" and it's so fine she actually sparkles when she's finished. She weighs about 2 lbs and I can hold her in my two hands. Okay, I could if she'd friggin sit still. She is hyper and sneaky and lucky for her too cute for words.
adorable. What the heck is it?
I may want to add one to our Menagerie!!!

Dust bowl?!? That is one I have never heard of. Must be a chinchilla thing?
After last week, I used an animal, too. :)

I'm usually scared of small fuzzy animals but this one looks really cute!

It bathes in dirt? That explains everything... My dogs think they're chinchillas!

OH, how sweet! A dust bath - too bad she's a chinchilla, not a bunny - then she could be a dust bunny ; )
