Weekly Words Challenge

Smooth and Rough

How lazy ... um, creative am I for finding photos from my vacation that fit the words?!

So many buildings are in rough shape in New Orleans.

The smooth fog over New Orleans in the morning.

I don't know if it's just me, but I don't see photos.

I can see the first photo, but not the second...
But wow, that first photo!! Rough. That is certainly one way to describe it...possibly the best way.

I have no idea what's going on with the photos. I can still see them. I edited and uploaded them again. Off to try one more time.

Thanks everyone!
I have never been to New Orleans before, so I have no idea how much of the "rough" we saw (and there was a lot) was from Katrina.
That fog picture is actually through our hotel window. It made me wonder where Carl Sandburg was when he wrote this poem.

Fog

The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then, moves on.
